Sticky hair even after wash

Hello everyone!

A few days ago I've washed my hair and dried it to find it sticky even after it's been washed. At first i thought it was just because i didn't rinse properly or i put too much heat protector on one part of my hair but I've washed my hair more times and it still hasn't gone.
Odd thing is, it's only the hair on the back of my head that's like this.

I tried using a clarifying shampoo but it didn't work so then i tried rinsing it with vinegar and it's still sticky.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

it could be because of product buildup. try using the clarifying shampoo on your hair dry, massage into the sticky area, then have a shower and wash a 2nd time with clarifying shampoo. it may take a few shampoos to get it out. let me know how you go!
