when doing popits i have tried to follow the advice on this site. I have tried using one bead and letting it settle in the popit, and pressing it not patting it too much, but im still getting bubbles. Can anyone help:confused:

Hiya i would say start a fresh ... make sure all are is out of your brush then makesure your L&P is wetter than you would normally use ( only a little ) place bead wait ..... then when you place the popit on nail dont use too much pressure it a hold rather than a push :)
Hopefully you will crack it honey just keep going :hug:

Are you holding the poppit on too firmly? You just need to hold it in place. If you apply too much pressure, when you lift your finger - the poppit pops up and hey presto - you have bubbles!

Keep practicing - it will come.

I see that some have suggested working wetter but I had this same problem with my poppits and found I was working too wet. (Each system is different obviously). I use TT and found that working a bit dryer than normal was the key (for me).

Don't press too hard, that mght be the problem. I had issues at first with the right pressure to hold the poppit on during that first "set" period.

Seriously, it took me about two practice sets to get it down spot on. Practice! You will get it.

Good Luck
Nancy

thanks for the advice, do you hold it on at the cuticle or tip and should there be no loose powder at all on the brush therefore making it a bit wetter. After you place the bead on the popit should you just press it a couple of times and does it make it worse if you wipe it. Sorry for all the questions just want to get this right
