Strange rash - is it an allergy

Before i went away on my hols i had everything waxed, now its starting to grow back so decided to buy the veet in shower hair removal cream. i've use veet products before and never had a problem so i put it on got in shower - like it says on instructions.

now legs have come out fine, however around my bikini area i have a red lumpy spot like rash? any idea what it is? can u be allergic to a product in just one area?

good job i'm not going swimming for a while xx

is there not seperate veet products for these sensitive areas i have never used the leg cream on my bikini hths

You must remember that you are using Chemical that disolved hair and putting it on sensitive skin. I would say it is more likely a reaction the the harshness (that stuff can corrode metal) on your skin as aposed to it being an allergic reaction.

many of these creams are too harsh for our more sensitive areas and it is advisable to use one specifically designed for these areas. i know that i can use it fine on my legs, but when i used it on my underarms, it looked like i had a burn marks on them:cry:.we live and learn!
