Student placements

I'm a fully insured beauty salon I'm getting asked to take on beauty students for placement from local college, im just wondering what checks do I need & what have I got to do? I've got full insurance with the guild, they don't cover students just wondering also what cover I'll need? xxxxx

You need to ring your insurer, as every insurer will be different.
Proceed with care though. I got approached by a college to take on level 3 work experience people and apprentices. Turned out that I would have been liable for £150 if they had dropped out of their course.
Knowing what the college drop out rate is, I declined to offer any placements.
