Hi,
I assume this is personal device in your own home and not a commercial one?
Anyhow, lot's of things determine how much time you should spend in a sunbed and indeed if you should even use a sunbed at all.
Firstly there's 6 skin types. Skin type 1 which is characteristically fair skinned, freckles, red hair, blond hair blue eyes etc. Skin type 6 is the darkest skin, African-American type and then there's all the different shades and colours in between.
I cannot tell your skin type, so I'm not going to advise you, but to give you an idea, Skin type one must not use sunbeds at all! Skin type 6 can have a maximum of 60 sessions a year but again there's various exposure times and restrictions in between the other numbers.
There are many other things that will decide how and if you should tan. Things like a history of childhood sunburn, excessive moles, freckles, certain medication, a family history of skin cancer, your medical history etc, will all prevent you from tanning.
If you can tan, you must allow a minimum of 24hours between sessions (48hours for skin type 2) and you must not tan if you have any redness from a previous session or outside exposure.
