I have recently bought a second hand sunbed it's the Bahama model of Amber sunbeds. I've been on it a few times, have got no tan at all and think that the tubes aren't working. I've been told to give it a few more tries.

The bottom tubes are 80W and they get really hot, it can be unbearable to lie on without a fan.

However, the top tubes are 100W and are only covered by metal wires. These do not get hot at all and I can actually touch them after being on the sunbed for half an hour.

Should all the tubes be the same wattage and should the top ones get hot. Do you think it's worth getting new tubes. Thanks.
