Can anyone tell me can you use your tanning compressor to airbrush nails?? I obviously with different connections maybe but just wondered if I need to by two compressors when one might do both.

P.S am considering either sienna or nouveau tanning systems if that helps!!

yes you can use an air brush compressor to apply fake tans,if you have a bottle that holds around 50ml on your spray head then you will be fine using the old style air brush
It takes longer to apply the tan with the air brush as the spray pattern is finer and because of the high pressure you may find there is a little more overspray than with the newer HVLP systems
the air brush compressor you are considering using was the normal way of applying spray tans 8 or ten years ago

when i first started doing spray tans 8 years ago i had a tiny compressor the same as the one for my nails. it used to take twice as long to spray someone and the results were no way near as good. if you have a foot pedal to opperate your compressor it will make it quite difficult to spray a person as i find i need to move around while im spraying.

I have a TC2000 Compressor with an HVLP gun and battled for ages to get a decent tan from it - not to mention money spent buying a better gun etc, ditched it ages ago in favour of the T200 and never looked back

Thank you, but Its the other way round that I'm talking about ie/ buying a tanning kit and using it to airbrush nails!! but I think that I get the idea that its probably not going to work, It was very late last night when I had the bright idea!!!

I use nouvatan because its the best system best brown not orange tan, it wears off evenly and smells fab even when developing... MOSTLY because the company care , im not just a number, they are on hane any time..... the kit is fab and under £300.. training is £75. and to be honest.... i wouldnt use anything else..... if i could no longer get nouvatan.... i would quit ... its that good.. www.nouvatan.co.uk love n hugs elisa
