The gel bottle issues

Sometimes I need to do 4 coats of the very light colours? Is this normal?

With most brands, pastels and neons might need 3 coats. Apply with lighter pressure so almost drag over the nail rather than pressing your brush into the nail. Make sure your surface is even and smooth. Apply white underneath so you might need a coat of white and then 2 coats of the pale colours.

Thank you, it’s just most of the time 2 or 3 does the job but of course Summer is here so the lighter colours are being chosen more and I’ve noticed this. I do apply light pressure and sometimes they still look see through with certain pinks so I’ve had to do a fourth.
