Hi, is it ok to tint a clients eyebrows still if their having chemo? She still has some hair left and want to make get feel better about herself. Any advice much appreciated TIA X

I would say it depends on how sensitive her skin is. If it's very sensitive then the tint could irritate. Also not sure if it would affect how the hair takes the colour.

I would contact your insurance company first and check if you would be covered and whether they want a Dr's note. If they give the ok then do a patch test, if no reaction just warn her that the outcome may not be guaranteed.

Failing all that you could show her how to use a brow pencil effectively, because the time may come when she doesn't have enough hair anyway and will want to create a brow effect.

Thanks for your reply . It's my mother inlaw . Will do a patch test 👍was going to get her some of my Christian brow palette too x

Get her to check with her nurse specialist if she has one too. Some chemo meds can sensitise the skin a lot more than others. The brow palette is a good idea :)
