Hi Techs. Had some lovely nailart done today but when the tech put the Star Nails topcoat on, two things happened. 1. It smudged the artwork. 2. The whole thing smudged off several hours later. I use the same topcoat but put it under a uv lamp and it stays rock hard for a couple of weeks. It does say on the bottle that it can be cured this way or under a normal bulb. So, my question is, is it only as tough when put under a uv lamp? xxx

Kimmi,

I am not sure about that paticular brand so I can't tell you about the UV light or anything but I am guessing the artwork was smudged as the Technician hadn't learned to float the product effectively. The topcoat over nailart should always be floated across the nail with the bristles not touching it like you use gel so that you dont drag the artwork.

I hope this helps somewhat.

Jadey :)
