I have just become the owner of a salon (about 8 weeks ago) and I was just wondering today how many of the salon owners on here trim up their salons for the likes of Halloween, bonfire night and christmas etc?

I would really like to do something to get people in even if its just for a nosey and then I can chat to them and tell them about everything that i offer within the salon.

thanks in advance for any advice.
:)

I decorate my salon at xmas. Christmas tree and a few decorations here and there. Might even do one of my special xmas hamper raffles this year!
I don't bother for Halloween or anything but i do spray tattoos so i advertise those at Halloween, Christmas, Valentimes etc.... as i have stencils that are themed for those occassions :)

This is something that I haven't done because in our country there are quite a lot of Christians (not all, don't take offense) who don't recognize Halloween and think it is evil and the devil's work. So in lieu of Halloween I have done a Fall theme using fall colors, leave's, etc. This way I didn't offend anyone.

I do decorate for Christmas, but have quit doing the other holidays. No one really seemed to notice and it hasn't affected my business either way.

I push the boat out at xmas with lovely decorations, but not any other time
