You do it with a tiny piece of sponge dipped in the 2nd colour.

you do the one colour then put your other colour on a make up sponge and dab it on,ombre nails

I'm not sure if its very good but I did a couple of ombré nails using mica powders on myself. I'm not a nail tech, just gel colour and experimenting with different styles.
