Using a polish bottle to practice sculpting

Hi Geeks i saw on here a while ago about an educator getting her students to practice sculpting on polish bottles.

I have searched for the thread and i can not seem to find it, does anyone
know how this would work, or how to do it please?

Take a polish bottle and with the bottom of the bottle away from you place your form on the lid and form it around the lid. I hope this makes sense. good luck
