Using CND Additives on Calgel

Wondering if someone could help me please!
I want to create an ombré look on nails but I find the way Calgel taught really difficult & can't get the hang of it! Has anyone ever used cnd additives powder? I might have a play around tomorrow because I'm quite intrigued as to how it works.
What's everyone's views on additives on the whole? X

As long as there is an inhibition layer, you can use CND additives for your nail art with any make of gel. You can also mix the CND additives with any make of acrylic.
