Can a UV lamp turn nails yellow??

Yes it is possible if the product is a low end product. Just as the UV in the sun can turn low end products yellow.

I use Calgel and Bio. I find with the clear Calgel if I overcure it, it DOES turn a bit yellow. It only calls for a cure time of 20 seconds. I can go over a bit, but too long creates the same yellow colour the nails will have after about 2 wks. of sun exposure. With Bio I can cure as long as I want with no problem (although it too will yellow over time).

with Calgel you are supposed to use the UV top coat and change this every couple of days, this does stop the yellowing.

Yes, I like Calcrystal. I would agree that it does help, but I find it still yellows. If I buff a bit first and then apply, it looks fresh again.
