Vision when beginning to hair or style

Hello hair geeks

I know this may sound abit like a stupid question, but I wanted to know what is the best way to have that image of the final look. Because I'm currently training as a junior stylist I want to improve on this, but I just don't know which direction to go to focus on the final vision.

It's all about the consultation.
Ask open questions about likes, dislikes, image, lifestyle, trends......
Use images to gauge what looks appeal to them....
Use your mirror! Look at their face shape, profile, and suggest looks you think will work/suit them.
Finally, be sure BEFORE you shampoo, they are happy with what you have both decided on, regarding styling.
NEVER proceed without that 'vision' in your head, of what the finale look will be!
