Hi Girls

Just been reading on here about the goverment standardising the nail industry.

Maybe thinking about this two late as i am now 4 months into a 9 month VTCT in Nail Technology but just checking this type of qualification is OK guessing it is but as I don't know much about the industry yet it got me thinking.

Thanks

Karenx

The government aren't standardising the industry any more than they've been doing for the last 10 yrs.

There has been a Nail Services NVQ for the last 4 years. Your qualification will be based on that so you're fine. You'll probably need to do some post grad conversations though

Hi
VTCT stands for vocational training charitable trust and it is an approved course. I did my NVQ level 2 and 3 back in 2000 2001,,, I did Indian head massage and nail extentions along side my NVQ's and their with VTCT. My nail extensions is a diploma in advanced nail technique's and from what I understand is that it's bascially the NVQ module. It's not a one day crash course I did it for 18 weeks one day a week at college. I have since do the cnd liquid and powder induction.
