I had nearly finished working on a client last week when she advised me that the small lump on the side of her finger was a wart. I had made it bleed and now I am worried that I have exposed myself to the virus. Help??

Warts are an opportunistic virus that will jump hosts readily.

You should firstly ensure that you do not pass this on to any of your other clients. Ie STERALISE all equipment that was used or touched this clients blood. If you can not steralise a tool (such as files) then they should be thrown away!!!

Secondly - a virus can only be caught if there is an opportunity for it to enter your blood stream. Such as having a cut on your finger also... Many people catch veruccas (ingrown warts) at public swimming pools, spas etc because of cracked heels.... If it can't get in then don't worry.
