Water decals with Shellac

Hi guys. Has anyone had success with water decals and Shellac and if so did you remove the tacky layer after curing 2nd colour prior to decal application? I usually wouldn't ask this and would just try on myself but I've just done a nice new design that I don't want decals on lol. Thanks in advance for advice of your experiences with this.

I had decals on shellac for the Olympics. The trick is to get them dry before u apply (I'm a poet and...oh nevermind lol) if u apply them wet it goes udders up. I put them on sticky layer of colour then applied two coats of top coat. They lasted til I took them off 3 weeks later. Hope this helps x
