Wax pots

Sorry for the ridiculously silly question but I just have to know.
I have a satin smooth double wax heater which comes with a lid.
How long do you guys leave it to cool down before you put the lids on? I don't want to do it too soon in case it makes it sweat into the wax but don't want to leave it off incase dust gets into my wax.

Never gave that a thought! I just put it back on when I'm finished. They will probably be made for that xx

I put the lid on straight away. What do you mean sweat?

Ah okay. Well I thought if you put it on while it was still hot wouldn't it create condensation and drip into the wax xx

I leave my lids on all day except when I'm using the wax
