Wedding fair stand

Hi

I need some ideas for a stand at a wedding fair! The actual fair is in the same place as the salon so people can come up and visit it but we will also be having a stand in the marque where our make up artist and a therapist will be. Besides us being able to talk to people and having a portfolio of make us does anyone have any other ideas for what we could do as ive never done anything like this before!

Hi. i've done a few wedding fayres and am not sure there is a right or wrong thing to do. Doing demo's can be quite good as it gives the public something to look at. We took part in one recently and gave every bride a little bag to take away. I'd bought some little organza bags off ebay and we put our general price list in there, our spa and wedding brochure in there, a business card and also a money off voucher. What was quite nice was that by the time they got to our stand they were so laden down with bits of paper etc they thought it was lovely to get a little bag with everything in together. We also had a prize draw running where they could enter to win a spa day by filling out a form. This gave us an opportunity to chat with them about when their wedding was etc, we also put an option on there to receive further information from us. HTH x
