Hi, i would just like to ask you all your thoughts and advice. I have recently qualified as a nail technican and i am very interested in the wedding market.

do you think there is enough business to do nails in the wedding market only? doing hen and pre wedding nail parties etc.

any advice greatly appreciated.

Theres enough business but i also think just doing weddings is limiting yourself a little. You could still do other clients but promote weddings as your especiality, offering special prices for groups or hen'dos. Even offering special child manicures with nail art for younger bridesmaids.

hope this helps

I have done a couple now & think there is def enough business out there for it to be a popular part of your treatment list:) The only major thing I would say I am going to concentrate more on when I do another is more organisation, I am quite well organised anyway but if you imagine alot of people wanting treatments and who goes 1st, who deserves to go 1st, then changing their mind??? Next time I am going to make a timetable & get everyone to agree with each other:!::lol:. But I think you have to keep reminding yourself that these things are a learning experience & you can adapt them each time, as long as you have remained professional & everything flows to the best of your ability. Get cracking & try one out I only got my parties (bridal/hen) through recommendation:) hth's
