I have been reading through various posts on here and keep seeing people mentioning "Weekend Nails". Can someone tell me what they are?

Thanks

hello!

well, in my salon we call weekend nails, that are prepped, tipped and then have a thin coating of either gel or l&p. enough for some strength, but nothing more really.

we dont build an apex , they take me about 40 mins to do and are not my favourite service to be honest. I always look at them and think, hmmm l have done half a job!

Tigi,

Do they sell well? How long do they last on average??

I am training in nails and can see this being a service that I will get asked for alot.

Do they come back to have them removed or are they generally pulled off by the person wearing them??

(I as terrible when I used to have nails on myself, Id always pull them off after a while - I obviously know better now!):green:

they do sell well around may ball time. we dont get asked for them a lot otherwise to be honest. We include the removal price in the initial cost so as to encourage them to come back to have them correctly removed. am wearing a set myself at the moment as i didnt have to do a full set and wanted nails for valentines day!

xxx

We call them temporary nails, because they really are designed to last a week at best.
We also glue on a clear full well tip, sort of like the nails you'd buy at the chemist and glue on yourself, but obviously professional products are better and stronger. We then airbrush them french, clear coat them (NSI Airshield) and away they go. Easy peasy.
