Wella 8/07?

Hi. I am trained in loreal, and do not normally use wella but am now looking to use and train in wella. Do the 9/07 wella kp or 8/07 wella kp need a base colour added to cover grey with 6% or do they cover 100% alone?

I would add base to be on the safe side depending how much grey they have either use 9/0 or 99/0 and the same with 8s

8/00 and 8/07 is lovely mixed together.

If 30% or less grey you can use in its own anymore I would ass some base

9/07 on its own is a pure natural which will cover grey completely with 20 vol, how ever this color alone tends to have a bit of a rosey tint to it, if your client likes that then go for it but if not I would use a formulation of 20-25 grams 9/07 + 5-10 grams 9/0 and equal part kp cream developer 20v
