Hey guys have a question about my own hair.
I'm a hairdresser but specialise in cutting and only do a little colour. I have big roots underneath (where I had extensions) base 7, then very highlighted hair that's blown out on the ends.
I want to match my colour to a clip in ext that I have as I love the colour.
I kept some of my hair that came out with the extensions and have been colouring them but not getting the result I want. So been pre pigging my ends with orange affinage quick pig, then used 8/0 over and it turned out green, then did a seperate piece of hair Pre pig then 8/3 and it was a bit better but still not warm enough, it's almost like a pearly peach colour I'm trying to match to,then number 3 is 8/3 and 8/4 (way too dark) all I had then to try was 8/3 and a drop of 8/4 (xp100 copper) and that was too dark still but only slightly when I hold it against the ext.
I am wondering if I need to go for something like 8/38 instead?
This is just the ends of the bleached hair I havnt figured out the roots colour yet I have been colouring some of the root on the hair I got out but it went too ash
