Stupid question but why don't wella make a single copper tone? What does everyone use for there copper tones in wella i normally have to buy loreal for my coppers but wondering what I can use in wella for them

/43 is a much more vibrant red copper a lot like a natural carrot top depending on the depth. /34 is much softer.

I use illumina for my coppers... Amazing.

I dont really use much Illumina but I think I'm gonna stock up on it! I love them for toning!! Thanks Cams

I'd use illumina over kp any day.

I use 8/34 with 9% for a beautiful vibrant copper and have used illumina 9/43 for a gorgeous peach copper tone x

Will have to give those a go! Love wella wish they would relaunch there red and copper lines to bring it up to the levels with Majirouge

Silly me? Loreal also uses two numbers to make a copper hue, just like wella! Schwarzkopf has a -7 tonal direction for copper but I actually like to choose whether I want a warmer subtle copper or a more reddish bolder shade.

I absolutely love Wella's coppers!! I love the way you can choose a more gold based copper or a red based copper - and then Illumina 7/43 is just beautiful. I think you need to do some swatching. Schwarzkopf-7 is beautiful too but I love having the option. I still go to Wella for my reds/ coppers

Think I need to get the swatches out and my technical manual!!!
