Hi everyone! Just looking for some advise please. My hair is very fine, thin & fragile prone to breakage. Was using majirel highlift always turned out a tad yellow. Switch to bleach 10 vol just doing the bare roots. My hair is in bits I just don't think it's strong enough for bleach. Thinking of switching back to highlift and 40 vol, have heard great things about wella highlift. My question is - Would u recomend 12/81, 12/89 or 12/96??? Could go full head of babylights route too. Not sure. Any advise appreciated! Main concern is hair getting thinner. Pic attached of natural roots. Dirty blonde with warm golden undertones. TIA!

My natural roots. Dirty blonde. Warm golden undertones

A highlift with 12% is far more damaging than bleach with 10vol so I’m surprised by your comment. What’s your natural base?

Dirty blonde?
Are you fully qualified and experienced in colouring?
What’s your natural level?

Any help appreciated! During lockdown I decided to fix my own roots using Majirel hilift tint (9 Neutral) and it came out pretty similar to my salon results (they use hilift too but not sure what colour). The problem is finding the right toner.
* My first attempt was too purple (wella colour charm t15) - I left it on for Apx 18 mins and ran it Through the ends for the last 2 mins). Pic 1
* My second attempt a month later Using wella CC T14 was too orangey/yellow. Pic 2 (curly) and 3 straight so that it’s easier to see

I can’t seem to find the right match for toner- can anyone help?????

This is a forum for qualified hairdressers. Using strong colour chemicals without the correct training can cause serious harm.
