Hi,

When i tone bleached hair i tend to use /18, it always comes out a lovely ash but with still a slight golden tone
A client of mine would like to go more of an ash blonde(white blonde) and so i wondering if anyone knows which is best toner to achieve that? Also any other toners for blonde eg a caramel blonde toner?
Attach pics if u can plse :) x

9/8 is good but you have to be fast, it goes really purply quick x

9/16 is my fave

My new favorite is 2 parts illumina 9/60 + 1 part 9/ with pastel mixed 2:1.on damp hair. Visually develop.

Illumina 10/69 + pastel creme developer is my go-to toner for that.

Illumina 10/69 and 8/69 with pastel are great, 10/16 and 9/16 koleston with pastel are good too, for caramel I like the 8/73 xx

I used ct 8/73 with 1.9 yesterday as a toner and was such a lovely caramel colour.i love illumina 7/81 as a toner and 9/60 x

So,i tried out the 10/16 on a client the other day and was slightly dissapointed that it didnt go as white blonde as we hoped(was still nice though), has anyone tried 10/8 before to achieve the white blonde?

This is the col my client wants to go in the pics

My client on the left is 10/16
My client on the right is 10/8
I love 10/8
But when I'm going for the colour you have uploaded I would use my CT 8/81 and watch it like a hawk! Hope that helps x

Yep, 8/81 is perfect for anything 8 and above.

Toning doesn't add depth.

So using a 7/3 over level 10 hair won't darken the hair.

Okay thankyou, will upload a pic when done it to show future visitors to this thread how the 8/81 comes out :)

Sorry, meant to say toning and visually developing won't add depth. I mean, toning is a process by which tone is added to the hair.

I could use 7.3 as a toner or a lowlight depending upon my application?

I know what you mean. For example if you were to use 8/69 on a 10 for a few seconds/5 minutes it wouldn't drop depth, it'd just add violet or neutralise. But if you were to leave it full 20 minutes it would drop the depth down to an 8. Only using 8/69 as an example because I've done it on myself before.

Yes! :) that's exactly what I meant.
