West Yorkshire therapists - advice on advertising please

Hi there,

Have advertised in yellow pages as a mobile therapist before and it was successful,

Thinking of doing either YP or yell.com if we move back to West Yorkshire

Just wondered how other therapists find this form of advertising for them.

Does this work? Is it value for money?

Also, does anyone advertise on google adwords? if so how does that work for you?

Any input and thoughts would be appreciated.

thes best form of advertising for me has been word of mouth

do a search on advertising, there is loads of advice

hi hun , yp for me never got me anything , and it was a big add too which wasnt cheap!
i now stick to my website , and free listings on yp,yell.com, etc.. and occasional flyers

Thanks I've set up and run businesses in 4 different parts of the country, my YP ad worked so well in one area, but have to say that I think I will stick to advertising on web.

Where abouts in Yorkshire are you, I have a salon in Skipton North Yorks and I am looking for p/t staff

Hi Alison I live in York at the mo, Skipton's a bit far away.

TBH I can't do salon work as I have two children and want to work around them. Have tried salon work and I prefer mobile as it is easier for my situation.
