I am taking the l&p foundation course with creative and wondered what my options are afterwards. Am I able to work in a salon? Do I need more training after the foundation course? Will I need to learn other things such as manicure etc?

Your Foundation is just the beginning of your nail education, you can progress on to Skill Building, Tips & Troubleshooting etc.
The best thing to do is to chat with S2 or your nail educator (once you know who's teaching you).

If you are in the UK I know they send out a folio of information on ALL the classes they do. Nail education is life long and CND never promise you will be salon ready after a foundation class ! However, many are in a very short time.
L&P is a skill on its own and can take many many months of hard work before your skill level can compete in the high street.
Manicure and Pedicure classes are separate although you will know how to perform a basic manicure.
I think you may have unrealistic expectations if you think you will be able to do perfect nails after a 5 day foundation class ... but you will be well on the way to practising safe work.
