L&P means liquid and powder as in your Salon Systems (for example) liquid Monomer and Powder Polymer.

L+P means Liquid and Powder (aka acrylic).

You can create glitter tips by replacing the white L+P with glitter mixed with powder, alternatively you can take the guess work out and buy Nail Graphix glitter which you add your powder to, it has the correct amount of glitter in the pot, once mixed with powder you apply as you would normal white powder.
