Hi there. I have had quite a long break off doing nails but now I'm back. I am looking for an extraction fan for nail dust and monomer fumes. Just wondering what everyone uses. Thanks x

If you want to also extract monomer fumes (these can cause asthma), then you need a filter system that in addition to filtering visible and invisible dust, it needs to include an active carbon filter that is at least 1 inch deep. That makes it too big for desktop use, so these filters are floor standing with a pipe to the desk working area. Vodex is a well known brand for these in the UK.

Hi, Take a look at the selection of units from Ravair Ltd, www.ravair.co.uk, used by training centres and colleges all over the UK and Ireland including by CND. Much less expensive than VODEX and with 330m/3 suction much more powerful. I believe their Easter Sale starts on Monday.
