What is Acrygel ?

hi guys wonder if you can help.

Received an email today offering conversion courses in acrygel.
I'm not interested in the course as I want to continue my training with creative but I am curious as to what it is.
I have never heard of this before has anyone else?

you pick up some gel on your brush then dip into some powder, apply to the nail and cure in a uv lamp.
i tried a sample when it first came out , but wasnt all that impressed. maybe its just me though coz i think some people like it.
