What is Minx?

Sorry to probably ask such a stupid question but can someone tell me all about Minx, im going to get a catalogue once i open an account but ive just moved and certificates are well hidden.

Everyone is going about them but not really sure what they are, are they transfers that go on etc?

They are described as nail armour.
