Hi there,
I am thinking of getting hair extensions. I live in the Warwickshire/ West Midlands area and am completely baffled as to which type to go for!! There are so many different kinds. I do not really want to pay more than £300 and ideally want to avoid glue. My hair is medium to fine so I really dont want to damage my hair either. Also does anyone know anywhere that does them in Nuneaton or Tamworth?? They are my local area's. Any advice?? Word of mouth is definitely better than just taking a risk so I'd love to hear your thoughts!!

There is so much more to getting extensions than just choosing the type. Really if you choose a professionally trained hairdresser who now specialises in hair extensions you will get the best advice, please take a look at this link What to look for when choosing a hair extensionist?
to ensure you dont fall into the mistakes many do when getting extensions.:D

Yes read the post that Lucelasticx gave ithas some useful points. make sure you can see plenty of before and after photo's. It would be good if you could speak to people who have hair extensions in your area to find out who they use (maybe harder to do than it sounds). Also you really do pay for what you get in hair, I would say £300 is probably a good price for good hair. I am based in the Derby area so not too far away from you so prices shouldn't differ too much.

Hi wglkatie,
I work in salons in both Nuneaton and Tamworth and provide both Tejune and Fairlocks Extensions. They are a type of weave/ weft system but specifically designed for Caucasian hair. I have trained in many different types of hair extensions (Balmain, Cinderella, Monofibre to name a few!) but now the only system I do is Fairlocks. Fairlocks Extensions (and Tejune) are the kindest to the hair as there is a lot of your natural hair going into the plait to support the extension in the best possible way. They are not tight like your afro carribean weaves, however they are extremely secure and once they are in will last 3 months no probs. Fairlocks extensions and Tejune Extensions are basically the same method of application but the Fairlocks hair is slightly cheaper than Tejune so they cater for every budget!! If you want to google Fairlocks extensions Nuneaton and have a look at the website then feel free to contact us!!
Kind Regards
Katie
