The favourite wine thread made me think...

What's your favourite cocktails and what are the ingredients?

Cocktails are my favourite so would love to hear everyone elses creations?

I LOVE..

Cherry Amore = Gin, Cherry Brandy, apple juice and Cranberry juice

Porn Star Martini = Passoa, Vanilla Vodka, Sugar Syrup, lime. Served with a shot of champagne.

Passagne (one of my little creations pronounced Pash-ain in the most chavvy voice you can do lol) = Passoa and Champagne, sometimes with a touch of passionfruit juice too

Woo woo = vodka, archers, cranberry juice and a squeeze of lime

Cosmopolitan = vodka, cointreau, cranberry juice and a squeeze of lime

And looooots lots more but I'll be here all night if I list them all lol

I've been on Disoronno and Cranberry juice tonight

My favourite is a Mojito - I love my rum!

Ice, sugar, lime, fresh mint, lemonade or soda water and rum, rum and more rum.

The best Mojito I had was whilst camping in the middle of the woods, round the camp fire in a plastic camping cup, I even put sugar round the rim of it. So classy me xxx

My absolute favourite is Woo Woo, I swear you can drink those like juice (I guess this may be a bad thing aha) and as you posted thats Vodka, Archers, Cranberry Juice and a bit of lime

I also like a good strawberry daquri but I couldn't tell you what goes in that!

My favourite is a Mojito - I love my rum!



The best Mojito I had was whilst camping in the middle of the woods, round the camp fire in a plastic camping cup, I even put sugar round the rim of it. So classy me xxx

Bleeeurgh!!! That's probably one of the very few cocktails I don't like. Don't like the mint. I'll have Sugar and rum any day though haha xxx

Haha. In fairness a straw and a bottle of rum would please me strawberry mojitos are nice too, but do prefer the original. Xx

Another one...not a cocktail(a shot) grenadine, archers and baileys in that order, it's called either a brain hemorage or alien resurrection (the baileys looks like a brain haha!)

Oooh I forgot strawberry daiquiri- I remember having a few of them and a couple of mojitos with a geeky friend at The Merchant in Belfast. Divine!

I always try new ones but end up going back to a cosmo, my old fave. Although the ones you get over here are nothing like the ones you get in New York. In NY it's a proper cosmo, over here it's really just vodka & cranberry juice with a bit of Cointreau chucked in too.

Toblerone Cocktail

For one serve:

- 1 nip of hazelnut flavored liqueur eg. frangelico
- 1 nip of coffee flavored liqueur eg. kahlua
- 1 nip of irish cream whisky eg. baileys
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 2 nips of cream
- chocolate syrup
- ice cubes

Method:

Put the frangelico, kahlua, baileys, honey, and cream into a cocktail shaker with the ice. Shake vigorously. Pour chocolate syrup into the side of a balloon glass and rotate the glass to create a pattern on its inside with the chocolate syrup. Gently strain the mix from the cocktail shaker into the glass. Decorate the drink with some flaked chocolate, and the rim of the glass with strawberries. Decadence! Cheers!

I love mojitos and raspberry daiquiri's I won't post recipe as they have already posted above.

Me and my friends went to the drift bar in London for a 30th birthday treat to do cocktails making it was sooooo much fun we was very very drunk by the end of the 2hrs!

What I did do many years ago though is Mars bar vodka, you need a bottle of vodka empty it into a jug then slice mars bars length ways so you can fit them through the neck of the vodka bottle, fill the bottle up with as much of the Mars bars as you can fit in there then top it up with the vodka so it pours all around the Mars bars. Once you've filled your bottle with Mars bars and vodka you need to put it in the dishwasher on the hottest wash (with the lid on obviously) at the end of it you should have your mars bar vodka

I imagine cadburys caramel would be yummy! X x x x

Shall definitely be trying the toblerone..! My favourites are Frozen Strawberry Daquiri, Mojito (regular or strawberry), Mudslides, I could go on! Just hand me the cocktail menu

A Mudslide: (Like an alcoholic chocolate milkshake)
- Milk or cream
- Chocolate Sauce
- Baileys
- Kahlua
- Vodka

A frozen strawberry Daquiri:
- white rum
- strawberry liqueur
- squeeze of like juice
- fresh strawberries
Blend with ice until smooth , so refreshing!

For a nice creamy shot, I got told this was called a BMW:
- Baileys
- Malibu
- Whisky

Surprisingly tasty, lovely caramel after taste xx

Mars milkshake and vodka - don't knock it til you try it

I had a gorgeous bubblegum daquiri from TGI Friday's but I don't know how to make it.

A guy I've just started seeing told me his favourite was a skittle bomb. I haven't tried it yet, but it's a shot of cointreau topped up with red bull xx

This works with any sweets I did it with cola cubes and some pear drops one year for a friends birthday!! Yum!
