When would you apply powdered glitter on gel nails?

Hi Chloe

I apply my base and 2 coats of colour but apply the glitter before curing the second colour, so it has something to stick to. After i apply 2 coats of top coat.

I apply base and 1 colour coat then cure. Then apply a second colour coat, cure for 30 seconds, apply glitter, cure again for 30 seconds. Then apply 2 coats of top coat x

Sprinkling glitter in uncured gel may interfere with a proper cure. It is recommended that you cure the color coat and sprinkle the glitter in the dispersion layer, then top coat and cure. That way, you know all layers have cured.

I've done full cure aswell but find the glitter sticks better if it isn't fully cured. Or fully cure but be quick getting your glitter on x

After I cure the last color coat I apply glitter then another two top coats then cure.
