Hi all

I have was wondering when you are buying supplies online how do you like the prices displayed? Do you want to see the price you pay or the price excluding VAT?

The price you pay! i always forget about the Vat and have a shock at the end when it comes to paying!

Most definatly with the VAT added it makes it so much easier to budget:hug:

I think the prices should always inc VAT.....then you know exactly what you are paying, before you go to checkout x

Definately including VAT for me.

With vat def. I hate it when i buy products, get to the till and the vat adds so much more. I can never work the vat out so always take a chance on the end price, lol

Something like:

£10.00 (£11.15 inc VAT)

Works for me ... best of both worlds then so all customers are happy.

Mat

ex- vat for me, as I'm vat registered

Thanks for all your replies guys. It looks like showing the included price wins so far.

ex- vat for me, as I'm vat registered

But would it be ok if a full vat receipt was included?

vat receipt would have to be included!!!
All wholesale prices are ex-vat. If the price includes vat, I would assume it's a retail price

^ That is a fair point about assuming it's a retails price if vat is included.

How about if you had to register, be approved and log in to a site to get prices? (prices hidden unless you have been approved as a professional).

i like the idea of the £10 (£11.15 inc VAT)
that gives a clear picture to all.
