I just got thinking of something...
Where do you all work and how much do you charge for your main work?
I'll start.

Where: Finland ( Own salon )
Acryl/gel set: starts from 80euros
Fill: 50euros
Gelish mani : 25euros

i got so excited about 80 for a set of gels i forgot to post a proper answer.
ok
where: the west of ireland
gels/l&p: basic set €40. ( see why i got excited by finland)
refill : basic within 2 weeks €28
shellac : basic €20.:sad:

i do think that we are all working harder for less money these days. next year i'm putting my prices up . that's a plan!

Infills at 2/3/4 weeks - £15/£18/£21

hmm... the 80+ can sound good, but im quite sure there are things that makes that price even with yours...

Finland's ALV 23% ( not sure how big is yours...some countries have 20% )
Our courses - good ones starting from 800 euros. ( and a good nail tech takes at least 1-2 courses in year to develop skills. + maybe nailart courses that also start from 250€ + )
( I'm taking courses from Estonia mostly, since they are cheaper and I would say level is higer thanks to russians-they are top notch at nailart imo. )

Products are crazy expensive in Finland. ( Iv'e been watching acrylic systems from England and Germany... but im not able to order them from there, since they don't sell me cause we have the distrubator in Finland...)

soo...minus all expenses theres really nothing much left from the 80...

Tip & overlay £30 French £25 natural (had to reduce these, my town is very competitive. Gone are the days of £40 for french l&p

Natural Nail Overlays: £25 French £20 natural

Shellac £16 (since reducing my price from £20 I have lots more clients but it does cheese me off as my course recommended £25, you just get virtually no clients in my area if you charge that)

But I do work from home so no overheads x
