Which nail polishes/varnishes are the best???

I'm currently doing the VTCT nail speacialist course at college (all 3 modules) and want to start building up a collection of nail varnishes/polishes. I'd like to collect all the same brand but don't know where to start as there are so many! We use Creative at college which I like but I would like your views on the best ones, regards.

in my opinion, OPI polishes are good and so are creatives polishes, but if i were you, id stick to creative - if thats what you using at college, they go on a dream, last for ever, and the colour range is amazing, i have just started to collect polishes for myself, (i never use polish as a rule) i only have about 7 so far, but the depth of colour, and the longevity of them really surpasses any other i have used

I use Creative, Mavala and Zoya (supernail) polishes, I like all of them They don't thicken up or go gloopy at all, application is good and they last really well on the nails. I prefer Creative for the range of colours available, they seem to have more choice than the other brands I use.
Other brands of polishes that seem popular are Orly, China Glaze, Essie and OPI.

I love creative - i used them even before i strarted training with them & also designer nails who distribute creative also sell a glitter top coat called northern lights which is brill !!! - Ive just bought myself a collection of polishes from creative called Exhibit & i recieved 12 polished (2 of each) & i also got a collection called dolled up free!! i think the offer is on for another couple of days & i would highly recomend them xxxx

i loooooooo:Love: ooove creative's polishes. i used opi for a while, but IMO went on too thick. i bought a couple of creative's and i was hooked!. creative's go on nice and thin, last forever and i love the colors. i haven't found one that i don't like!!! and i also love stickey, because it doesn't take forever to dry (like some others that i've used).

i use and love creatives polishes i think they are fantastic i would stick with what u know or buy one bottle of each brand to find which one u like but i found the cheap and nasty ones are really bad:biggrin:

I use OPI and China Glaze, both go on really well and they last. Havent tried Creatives polish range. Will have to give it a whirl.

dont limit yourself to one brand use the best bits from any range i would really recomend essie for the sheer polishes they are beautifull!!!!:Love:

OK, thanks guys. I have now decided to use Creative as its the one that has had the most mention from you all. I live in UK, where is the cheapest place I can buy them??I haven't trained in Creative at college so can't order direct from them.

i am sure you will be able to purchase polishes (dunno if you have to be qualified first ) the only thing you cant buy is l&p & gel , hth
