hi all,

Im currently looking at doing a tanning course but got a bit of a dilema.
One course is half day, airbrush spray tan course and uses ST Tropez which i have used before and do really like but then again i havent ever used any other brand.
The other course is a whole day and uses Xen Tan but it is airbrush and 'cosmetic' self application.
I wondered what you think is best as i think probably the whole day over a half day but i dont want to waste my money if Xen Tan isnt as good a system and if half a day is adquate time to learn the basics.

xx

Hi i would prob go with the full day course as half a day doesnt seem long enough to cram it all in but to be honest its lots of practice you need,i have been spray tanning for many years and have tried both of those tans im actually using LA tanning solution at the min it is very good ,its all trial and error you will prob chance solution lots of times till you find your own favorite ,all of the warehouses do tanning training courses like Capital and Ellisons have a look on their websites, good luck.

I would do some more searching before deciding. Are you specfically wanting to learn airbrushing and manual application.....i only ask this as i think most tanning is now done using hplv, it's faster and more economical with good results. I personally trained with tantrick as they offer one to one training, but other companies that offer training include suntana, spraytanshop, nouvatan, sienna x to name but a few!! I'm not sure whether their training is group or one to one, you would need to ask. Do a search on here and you'll find loads of threads about this!
Also just because you train with a particular brand doesn't mean you have to use that, get samples from as many as possible and find your favourites.
