hi ,sure thats what i did when i was at hull college and i had to get a kit that was around £70 (it is acrylic nail course right?).
if your not hundred percent on doing this course however i would recommend going and training with creative. iv recently done a conversion course with them but wish id started with them at the begining of my nail carreer. sure i would have learned so much more and hell of alot quicker.
hope helps xx wish someone had given me this advice yrs ago xx

thanks for replying hun i was just wondering what did you cover when you did the course? and what brands did they train you up in?

Yes I'm going back a few years but we did have to purchase a kit x

what kind of brands did you use?

At college we were trained in NSI but halfway through my course I converted to EzFlow and my tutor understood and let me use a different product, I think at college it all depends on the tutor tbh x

I started my course last Tuesday evening and I had to buy a kit. We are using NSI.

My VTCT was not as good as I expected tbh and I trained with Ezflow... as I finished the course a bit earlier than the other students.
I learned tip and overlay on my VTCT and some fibreglass...hence the reason for further classes....
VTCTs are different in every area so I really don't know what you'll get from your course hun but I hope it's a good start for you x

oh right well as far as i know they cover acrylic, gel, silk fibre,maintance,mani/pedi,nail art,in fills etc so it seems like it covers a fair bit but after the course id proberly convert to a different system and gain abit more training from other brands such as CND or Ezflow but i think the VTCT would be good as a starting point and teach me how to do different types of enhancements then from there once qualified advance my skills :)
