Hello everyone!
Im 20years old and have a love for getting my nails done (acrylics for 3/4 years now) and I've decided to look into becoming at nail technician but am finding it hard.
The basic salary isn't very much which is worrying me a little bit, and while researching i'm not sure which is the best kind of qualification to go for, a NVQ or something else?
I've been looking online at courses in london but because they are all very different in lessons and price its also confusing me a lot. I am looking for a short course 4/5 days etc and that will enable me to become the best nail tech I can be as I want to make this my career!

I am a complete newbie to this so thank you for your help! x

If you're looking at doing a short course speak to Sweet Squared on 0845 210 6060 about the CND Foundation Course - 5 days and Ketan Patel in Action, London is one of the best educators in the business. CND training and products are second to none and being a CND tech will gain you respect within the industry if you decide to look for an employed role in a salon.

I completed an NVQ in nail enhancements at college, but learned so much more when I completed my CND course. Go for it! and goodluck

London college of beauty therapy is great! :) its where i trained just off oxford circus :)

You can get your level 2 in 5 months? going 3 days a week.. thats what i done :) well worth it! ... then i dont my nvq level 3 in nails which took 6 weeks! :) was really good and well worth it!! and best of all its all free!!

You can do a level 3 course if u have never done one before for free :) you just need proof that u havent done a level 3 or equvilant course, if that makes sense?

these courses maybe quicker than a "normal" college but you are at college from 9-6 3 days a week constantly working.. and they now are sponsered by O.P.I so you get to use good products..

Though i am now training with cnd :) and they are amazing!! sorry its a bit of an essay :) xx hope that helps? x
