Hi,

I'm fairly new to the industry after re-training. I am specialising in facial treatments that are non-evasive and that provide the most effective results for clients 40+.

I do LVL lashes, facials and A-Lift, but it's SUCH a minefield out there as to what to buy next. I've been torn between Dermatude micro-needling, LED, Microdermabrasion and Radio Therapy. I'd love to do all, and hopefully will eventually be able to offer lots of different machine treatments, but if you had to go with your one best anti-aging treatment - what would it be?

Thanks!!

I'd probably be tempted to suggest you consider Dermatude as its more wrinkle-focused, rather than RF which, like A-lift, is more about lifting and contouring, and Dermatude is less painful than micro needling, but I'm really interested to read others opinions on this too!

Is Dermatude more gentle then e-dermastamp? I believe with the dermastamp machine you have to numb the skin, but I don't think you have to do this with Dermatude, am I correct?

Maybe get two machines - dermatude or microdermabrasion for wrinkles and condition of skin and radio frequency for sagging skin? Is LED good for sagging skin or for tackling wrinkles?

Correct, you don't have to numb with Dermatude - so you don't have to worry about clients being put off because of the ouch factor, it feels similar to microdermabrasion on the skin [emoji5]️

Radio Frequency delivers great results for client's that are looking for skin firming, tightening and wrinkle reduction. SkinBase offer Radio Frequency machines on a PAYG system making it a great way to introduce a new treatment into your salon without the initial outlay for the machine. The Microdermabrasion and IPL hair removal & skin rejuvenation machines are also available on the PAYG system. I would recommend getting some further information as the PAYG option is great if you are relatively new to the industry :)

LED is great for treating acne (blue light) and eczema - it generally calms, plumps, soothes and tones the skin. It's great to help speed healing after more aggressive facials. Some machines also have galvanic built in, which adds the toning/lifting element, but as the OP already has A lift, that probably delivers better galvanic results
