Hi. Just an idea for your frizzy roots. I have a few clients with roots that tend to frizz up. What I tend to do get a vent brush right into the root to smooth the root then continue with a round brush to blow dry. I find if the root is properly dried before I go on to the end it help keep...
Just a thought! Did you rinse out the bleach yourself or do you have trainees? If the bleach wasn’t rinsed away properly this could result in this situation.
Sorry but I’ve not been on for a while and I am so shocked that some of you seem to be working. Did I miss something as I was under the impression that we can’t until at least the 4th July.
Explain please someone
Thanx. Yes her natural base is probably a 6 or even a 5 with about 20% grey at the front I’m using Quif strip off. Never thought of that was hoping not to need any bleach. Yes I know about the reoxidising. Will probably have to strip it a few times
Hi Geeks.
I’ve got a client wanting to go from a tinted base 4 to a 7. I’m going to use colour remover then go in with a 9 as I believe you need to colour 2 shades lighter than your desired level.
Any tips or advise?
Matrix do 5 minute toners. They are fab. The anti yellow would be perfect. You have to watch them and rinse as soon as you get your desired result. They also do some new acid toners. They are fab too!
I love Matrix. I changed from igora royal a few years ago. I would say the bases are slightly darker than others.
They do a good Grey coverage range too so a 4 would be a 504
Matrix cult is fab for vibrant fashion colour and can be diluted with clear for more pastel shades. I’m loving matrix at the moment. They’ve just launched 5 minute toners and acid toners too
I’d say work out her price list and say all she can do is off a 5% or 10% discount for close friends and family. So she can build up a clientele
Just stick to what works best for her. Also doing a Sunday should have a higher rate to start anyway
Good luck to your disgusted and start as you mean...
I’m a hair person but having had lots of spray tans my favourite is the St Tropez Express Tan. Develops really quick and can rinse if within a few hours for a light tan or the full 6 hours for darker.
Hope this helps
