    Hi Geeks, Just wondering how any other salon owners pay their staff? I pay mine a salary and part-timers by the hour, does anyone do a basic and commission if so how does it work? Am thinking it will give more incentive as if theres nothing on they get paid regardless thoughts please?:hug:

    I run a small village salon with myself partl time, another part-timer and one full timer, most of the time this works well but if either of us needs time off it's a nightmare especially a saturday.     I stock Clynol and they do a shampoo called Therapy i get loads of people coming back for it especially men, so you know it must work, they also do a scalp tonic to rub in the scalp very soothing. I would never recommend a high street product as they just strip the scalp down hope this helps

    It's a flat rate for the radio, then extra for CDS, Dvds also it depends on how many seats you have as more than two is deemed to be the public!! I really think the likes of Madonna, George Michael etc really need our hard earned cash don,t you??

    I had this brought into my salon about 5 years ago 4 a sunbed, i contacted my electricity supplier and they arranged everything the neighbours had their power of 4 a day though! I think it cost about £350 back then, then i had to get my electrician to sort out cables in the sunbed room on top...
