Baby oil, almond oil and grapeseed oil will all do the trick, but it does take a bit of a play to get the right amount on the skin. As Louise said, Kate, it sounds like you might be using a bit too much - you need just enough to create a very light sheen on the skin. If you find the wax slides...

Hi Tracey, A few tips for making things faster: Apply as much wax as you can before using your strip – I will often cover the front of both lower legs with wax before even getting a strip out, but this will depend on how quickly your wax cools on the skin (and remember it cools quicker...
