It'd need to be accredited. Babtac has how to get your courses accredited on their website. I'm sure all of the other major beauty insurers would do too.

Everyone *seems* to be using iPads to run appointments etc and I'm leaning that way myself. However they are of course expensive, so i wanted to see if any of you use any alternative tablets with salon software, and your experiences. Thank you!

I've been with Lavish for a couple of months -had one lady use a large amount of vouchers for a few treatments and she travelled a fair way to use them with us. One little niggle... you give them 20% for their commission... and then you pay VAT on that commission. So for every £100 of vouchers...

Does anyone know where to find statistics on salon usage - ie Which Towns spend more per capita in Beauty Salons. Average spend per client per year. I've googled, but can't find anything. Surely someone out there must have done this research! :)

I think it comes down to you communicating with the staff. Sometimes it is hard to be the boss and say these things as you feel you shouldn't have to and they should be obvious, but they clearly need what is expected with regards to phone/dress etc clarified. If I were you, I'd just bring it up...
