A lot of my clients hated sticky feet and some refused to wear them so I just use a clean black towel in the bottom of my tent and have never had any problems with tanned soles.

Sounds like too much solution is being used. Darker solutions can be more sticky than the lighter ones due to the higher percentage of DHA but you should not be overly sticky for too long after being sprayed.

I am using the Garnier Summer Body lotion just now after a customer commenting on how good it was and I'm surprised how good it is with it being one of the cheaper off the shelf ones. I'm using the light one and I have a nice golden glow after using it afew days. There is a dark one too.

Make sure you have shaken the bottle of solution properly before use. This will make sure all the active ingredients are not all sitting at the bottom of the bottle x

I have a client who if I spray tan her at a certain point through her menstrual cycle, the tan completely washes off and doesn't take at all. Do it a few days later and it's fine! Hormones can play a big part of how a tan developes.

Suntana and Nouvatan are both lovely solutions. I use them both. I would advise you to get some samples of some different solutions and try them on yourself and some friends who you will be able to see as the tan fades and decide for yourself which you prefer.
