Is it possible to number 1 - 10 the best product i.e 1 being the best and 10 the worst.
It be really helpful

Thank you xxxx

Hi Hellsbells

this is unfortunatly a truly subjective exercise...
Each product has it's own strengths and weakness's - and of course if you are not trained how to correctly use a product, then a 10 could seem like a 1...

If you are using a professional brand product, and know the chemistry and correct usage then you can get great results from many products..

hope this helps

Very true

But Gelish and Nail Harmony are a 1 of course :green::green::Grope:

I understand totally where you are coming from!

My suggestion - NEVER, EVER comment on competition products, it actually will cheapen you and your choice - because it will always make you sound bitter and defensive.

I have picked up some of my best customers because someone else tried to put down my work - so the customer came to see if it was true, and because it wasn't the customer was delighted, realised the other woman was a liar and never went back ;)

Point out why you chose your system/product and answer their questions with the techical reasoning that makes your choice the only obvious one for you! I'm trained how to get the best result, and here's why I, and my clients find it so fantastic .... xyz reason...

Thank you,
Don't mind me asking but who did you train with??

I think i am swaying more to cuccio because i love what they put in their prioducts and they smell great and have alot more of choice.

 Envy is an education ambassador for CND.
Trained with CND
Smelling great does not make it a great product hun, if you do a search on all the brands available like Envy said you should find it very intresting reading. You need to know what goes into the products the science behind them, why they are a great product, what makes them great, whats gives them the staying power, what will they do for me and my clients etc etc etc. Learn about the different brands out there and you will be able to make a more informed choice.
Also if you update you status with who you trained with etc it will give us a clearer insight into you and what you do and help us give more informative answers

Me personally?

I'm an Educational Ambassador for CND (Creative Nail Design) * edit as Busybee beat me to saying ;)* I chose them because of their strong product formulation innovation and incredible training & support

I don't particularly think a bigger range is best - it means more outlay and often more confusion through choice (especially to the customer) I personally would rather have 1 product that performs exactly how I and the customer expect it to ;)

Cuccio are fab. A lovely mani/pedi range and yes they smell great and you are right regarding their ingredients

Hello in my opinion CND and NSI have excellent products and most of my materials are bought from them. I also like that NSI do VAT free days! I specialise in nail art and think that youngs have the edge with the art side of things. I wouldn't really say what products were rubbish as that would just be my opinion and I don't want to demean anyone elses nails, plus I suppose when starting out it's what your budget will allow. FYI some interesting comparisons are in Scratch magasines - this month it's gel polishes/ shellac/ gelez/ axion etc

Hope that help x
